The girl on the train is a 2021 hindi language mystry thriller film directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, produced under Reliance Entertainment. The film features Parineeti Chopra, Aditi Rao Hydari , Kriti Kulhari, and Avinash Tiwary in lead roles, which is an adaptation of 2016 film which features Emily Blunt as lead role of same name. The film is also based on the Paula Hawkins 2015 novel of same name.
The film focuses on the lawyer Mira Kapoor who get pregnant with is husband only till it lead to traumatic accident which causes a miscarriage downward spiral alcohol abuse an enventual separation. Now Mira sits aimlessly on a train to drawn toward the couple who lives on their previous home, drawn with such intensity that she find himself embroid in a case that involves every individually going on missing. How the case slowing unrevials and mira has to put two into gether while getting a hazy account of how things have conspired the plot of the girl on the train.
For this film Parineeti has a great opportunity to showcase her full talent but it lacks somewhere, just because of improper directing and the major changes made in the storyline of film as compared to original film by Ribhu Dasgupta. Putting the three talented actresses does'nt make the film well good until and less the storyline is good. The film plot looses many time one, when mira is roaming in whole city freely and the is after him and also she the the two times where the murder took place means what nonsense!!,second are the unwanted songs which are not at all needed and feel distracted from film.
So, I gave the film rating 7/10. I personally not recommened this film to watch, just better then this go and watch the Emily Blunt,s 2016 The girl on the train with her mind blowing performance.
